I want to personally take this moment to update our followers with the status of some of our upcoming projects, specifically AMERICAN GUNSLINGERS, in light of the current coronavirus crisis. After discussions with my team, we decided to postpone our original plan to begin production at the end of this spring and we may try to re-start the production either the end of the summer or early fall. There are so many moving parts to getting this film made and when you deal with horses, outdoor locations, child actors as well as some actors of a certain age, there’s some serious responsibility to maintaining a professional and safe production. We felt it was not worth the risk rushing into the production because of the uncertainty of this pandemic. This also might affect other projects we were planning for this coming season as well.
We will keep the Seed & Spark campaign for the film active until it ends on April 23rd. I had initially thought about canceling it until we received our first contribution yesterday. I’m honestly not sure how successful we will be at this point because of the public paranoia this virus has created. But it always helps if you guys can please share the link to at least get us trending.
So what do we do for the time being? Well now there’s time to write new scripts and The Silver Screen Action Figure Podcast will continue starting with a brand new episode to be released tomorrow. For those of you who plan to bunker down at home for the long haul:
