“Uninvited” Music Video Accepted to Northeast Film Festival

Another round of applause for our good friend Milan Lazistan for a new film festival acceptance to the video we produced for him, UNINVITED! It previously won “Most Creative Music Video” at WMIFF earlier this year. Now it will be part of the Teaneck-based event happening Sept. 9 through the 11. DISMISSAL TIME and ANGELINA Music Video Receive New Film Festival Acceptances

Another big news day for us at AJ Epyx Productions! First, our newly award-winning short film Dismissal Time has been accepted to screen at the first annual Dirty Popcorn Black Film Festival in Wilmington, DE! Info is as follows:

The event kicks off at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 13th at The Delaware Art Museum and runs until 4:00 PM. Events include short film showings, meet and greet with local filmmakers, Q&A panel and an awards ceremony for selected films. 

The festival is free to the public, but due to limited space, registration is required. Please be sure to register if you plan to attend. Don’t miss the chance to experience the masterpieces created by local filmmakers.

DISMISSAL TIME Wins the “Audience Choice Award” at the Indie Short Film Series

We had a near-packed audience in attendance last night for the latest Dismissal Time screening as part of the Indie Short Film Series in Charlottesville, VA. The feedback from the audience was so moving that they went on to vote our film for the AUDIENCE CHOICE AWARD! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the event as well as to show this level of love to the work we made. Special thanks to Ty Cooper for putting on this event, being so accommodating for the weekend, and allowing for Dismissal Time to be seen. Congrats to our entire team for bringing this powerful movie together.
