The first film that kicked off the Vendetta series, DISHONORABLE VENDETTA, is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video for customers in the U.S. and the U.K.! Previously a winner for “Best Firefight” at the 2015 Urban Action Showcase sponsored by Cinemax, the original film follows two young DEA agents assigned to go undercover as drug dealers to take down a group of a dangerous Russian cartel. But their lives are put at risk when one of their own is leaking information to the suspects.
Yesterday, we received notice from Amazon that on June 4th, they will be shutting down the Media on Demand service for good. MOD was our source for submitting and selling physical copies of our past films since PRICELESS back in 2010. With the fast changing climate of the industry as there is greater public demand for digital streaming services, physical media is clearly phasing out.
What does this mean for us? It mean that this will be your last opportunity to purchase DVD and Blu-ray copies of THE SAXOPHONIST, DISHONORABLE VENDETTA, NIGHT STREAM, EVIL SOCIETY, and TEMPTED. All films are available at discounted prices and have special features that you may not get on a streaming service. They are only worth having as collector’s items. The change at Amazon, however, will not affect VENDETTA GAMES which can still be streamed on Prime.
We may look into another physical media distribution outlet in the near future should the demand be there for it. But if you still want to see these movies after June 4th, they are all available on our Vimeo on Demand page and THE SAXOPHONIST can be seen on The BeBop Channel app.
Our fans keep asking us where they can find all films produced by AJ Epyx Productions over the years. With so many titles out on multiple platforms now, we decided to start a periodic blog to update everyone as to where they can see the work we have done. See all films with the links below their posters (Trailer links in posters):
Surprise announcement! VENDETTA GAMES hits the streaming platforms early! You can watch the award-winning crime thriller this weekend on Tubi, Roku, and Xumo. And they even updated the cover art! The film can also be pre-ordered on DVD at Amazon and will hit stores this coming Tuesday at Walmart and now Target. Huge thank you to our distributor ITN Distribution for bringing our film worldwide!
Before you see VENDETTA GAMES, be sure to watch the film that started it all DISHONORABLE VENDETTA only on DVD at Amazon and streaming on Vimeo on Demand!
Lastly, please continue to support the crowdfunding campaign on Seed & Spark for our next project, AMERICAN GUNSLINGERS, as we are now going into the episodic series direction. The deadline is May 9th!
I want to personally take this moment to update our followers with the status of some of our upcoming projects, specifically AMERICAN GUNSLINGERS, in light of the current coronavirus crisis. After discussions with my team, we decided to postpone our original plan to begin production at the end of this spring and we may try to re-start the production either the end of the summer or early fall. There are so many moving parts to getting this film made and when you deal with horses, outdoor locations, child actors as well as some actors of a certain age, there’s some serious responsibility to maintaining a professional and safe production. We felt it was not worth the risk rushing into the production because of the uncertainty of this pandemic. This also might affect other projects we were planning for this coming season as well.
We will keep the Seed & Spark campaign for the film active until it ends on April 23rd. I had initially thought about canceling it until we received our first contribution yesterday. I’m honestly not sure how successful we will be at this point because of the public paranoia this virus has created. But it always helps if you guys can please share the link to at least get us trending.
So what do we do for the time being? Well now there’s time to write new scripts and The Silver Screen Action Figure Podcast will continue starting with a brand new episode to be released tomorrow. For those of you who plan to bunker down at home for the long haul:
– You can watch our award-winning short film THE SAXOPHONIST right now on Amazon Prime.
We’re pleased to announce that ITN Distribution is FINALLY releasing our award-winning feature film VENDETTA GAMES for DVD on April 7th on Amazon and Walmart stores across the country! The bonus features on the disc will include some of the behind the scenes docs from the set. Some of you might inquire about the cover art which we made attempts to change, but we ultimately did not have much control over mainly down to Walmart’s criteria. That does not make it any less of a success for us and we are very proud of this award-winning cast and the exposure this film is about to receive. So please mark your calendars, go to your local Walmart stores, and/or pre-order now on Amazon today! We’ll have more information about Blu-ray and streaming platforms very soon.

This past weekend, my long time friend and partner in moviemaking Albert Albanese III finally tied the knot with his long time fiancee, Linda. I couldn’t be any more proud for him for all he’s been through over the years. For us, we started as far back as 14 years ago when the group of us Curtis High School kids attempted to make a backyard wrestling movie called Junkyard Warz. It was a mess, but so much fun to make and we all bonded making it.
From there, Albert and I did our share of small scale films before we stepped up our game in 2007 when we produced Priceless together. Both of us had the experience of seeing a movie to completion, but never on a profession level with serious actors and crew. We both grew from that experience and used that knowledge towards the next film, Dishonorable Vendetta.
We have had a ton of adventures together. I wish nothing but the best for the long loving journey that Albert and Linda are about to embark.
