Written and directed by André Joseph, BROOKLYN LIGHTS tells the story of two emotionally scarred individuals reconnecting during the holiday season while navigating grief, healing, and unexpected human connection. Set against the warm glow of Brooklyn’s Christmas lights, the film explores themes of loss, hope, and second chances.

The film has continued to build momentum through festival screenings and television exposure, bringing independent Black storytelling to wider audiences through Badami TV’s spotlight on emerging filmmakers and diverse voices.

“This film was deeply personal to create,” said filmmaker André Joseph. “To have it featured through Badami TV and reach audiences in major cities like New York and Philadelphia is incredibly rewarding.”
