As always, we are so thankful for every film festival accolade we have received since this journey started. But the work remains a long haul. We still need as much support to bring this important short film into high schools and college campuses to be exposed to teenagers nationwide. More good news to share! The music video we made for Milan Lazistan’s “Uninvited” was announced as the winner of the CRANFORD COUGAR AWARD at this year’s Cranford Film Festival! The video received the most audience votes at the festival which resulted in this great honor. Thank you to all who enjoyed and voted for our video!
And if you live in Philly, “Uninvited” screens again on Wednesday, May 17th at 5:30PM at the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival! The video will be in the FESTIVAL OF MUSIC VIDEO block located at Purple Light Lounge (924 Canal Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123). Tickets can be purchased here.
After our “Best New Jersey Short” award win at Hang on to Your shorts last weekend, it looks like I’m finally coming back to Boston! We are thrilled to announce our film Dismissal Time will be featured in the 25th Annual Roxbury International Film Festival (@RoxFilm) happening June 20- July 2, 2023. The film will screen at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, MA on Saturday, June 24th in “Shorts Program 3” from 2:30pm – 5:00pm. Congrats once again to our team!

Another huge honor for our special story Dismissal Time, now WINNER for “Best New Jersey Short” at the 10th annual Hang on to Your Shorts Film Festival! I want to personally thank Hiram, Brian, and Rich for this award and more importantly getting our film seen in front of an audience. There’s no better feeling than to see the profound effect that such a traumatic experience can serve as a moment of clarity to educate not just teens but also teachers and parents.
In addition to this award, Dismissal Time has landed Semifinalist status for the Brooklyn International Short Festival and was accepted to screen as part of Hamilton Arts Festival Short Film Series! Hope to have more specifics on those soon and more. Once again, congrats to our cast and crew all around!

The music video we did for Milan Martin‘s UNINVITED played to a jam packed house at the Cranford Film Festival last night! Could not attend due to a prior commitment. But from what I was told, the audience had a great time!
