Our Christmas-themed short film BROOKLYN LIGHTS will be dropping exactly one week from today on December 10th on the AJ Epyx Productions YouTube channel which you can see the trailer for now. But we want to share the special announcement of popular soul-jazz flutist RAGAN WHITESIDE granting us special permission to have her song “I Never Told You” featured in the end credits track for our film! For those unfamiliar with Ragan, she is the first artist to win the competitive Best Contemporary Jazz Artist Award at the inaugural Jazz Music Awards, held at the Cobb Energy Centre in Atlanta. Ragan is also a 2023 NAACP Image Award Nominee and four-time nominee for the Smooth Jazz Network’s Best Artist Award. We’re truly excited to have Ragan provide this beautiful track to an emotionally heavy film.

“I Never Told You” also features the legendary Bob Baldwin and Zoiea Ohizep who also appears in the film. The song which appears on Ragan’s 2017 album Treblemaker is available on all streaming platforms. Learn more about Ragan at her official website.
