Unfinished Business Television unwraps another DEEP DIVE into one of the most curious comedy sequels of the early ’90s—Mannequin Two: On the Move!

Following the surprise success of the beloved 1987 original starring Andrew McCarthy and Kim Cattrall, this sequel attempted to recapture the fantasy, romance, and screwball charm with an entirely new cast and story. Unfortunately, lightning didn’t strike twice.

Starring Kristy Swanson and William Ragsdale, Mannequin Two swaps the department store romance for royal intrigue, slapstick hijinks, and another magically animated mannequin—but does any of it measure up to the original?
