Cinematic Talk – ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE

Here’s the last of the 3 videos that filmmaker Andre’ Joseph took part in for Cinematic Talk with DJ Dreamer and Rockstar801. They give their reactions on Zack Snyder’s JUSTICE LEAGUE that just dropped last month on HBO Max.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League, often referred to as the “Snyder Cut”, is the 2021 director’s cut of the 2017 American superhero film Justice League. It presents Justice League—the fifth film of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU), the sequel to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), and based on the DC Comics team—as director Zack Snyder had intended it before he left the production. Like the theatrical release, Zack Snyder’s Justice League follows the Justice League—Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), and the Flash (Ezra Miller)—as they attempt to save the world from the catastrophic threat of Darkseid (Ray Porter), Steppenwolf (Ciarán Hinds), and their army of Parademons.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS: DEEP DIVE – COMING 2 AMERICA (2021)

Unfinished Business takes a deep dive into the sequel that nobody expected or asked for: COMING 2 AMERICA! Did Eddie Murphy recapture the nostalgic magic of the 80s or was it another family-friendly dud? Find out our thoughts on the new Amazon release with hosts Jeff Gallashaw, Andre Joseph of AJ Epyx Productions, and SPECIAL GUEST Billie Boom!

UNINVITED Behind the Scenes

These are some of the pics of the highly ambitious UNINVITED music video shoot we did for Milan Lazistan’s album, MUSIC AT MIDNIGHT. Between 2 days of shooting, puppeteering, and green screen studio work plus many long hours of creative animation went into this one. We really appreciate working with Milan as always. We also give thanks to Kim and Emma Schiavo for making this video extra special. Now UNINVITED makes its world premiere just in time for Valentine’s Day season.

New CineFiles Episodes Coming This Fall

Back by popular demand, The CineFiles will be returning to its original video format this fall season. While Eric Cohen is on a brief hiatus, we have the long awaited return of Mike Foltz who will be joining both Jeff Gallashaw of Unfinished Business and Andre´ Joseph to discuss the latest film reviews and some very timely topics. Follow the This is Infamous YouTube channel for these upcoming episodes, podcasts, and much more!

CineFiles Return

Oliver Harper’s Retrospectives & Reviews

We don’t often plug other websites and podcasts besides The CineFiles and CosBlog. But in this case, I highly recommend any movie lover to check out Oliver Harper and his retrospective/reviews covering cult films and popular movies for his YouTube channel. He’s not the typical internet celebrity who pokes fun at a film’s flaws. Instead, he tackles the backstories behind the films, special effects techniques, soundtracks, and most unique of all the video game tie-ins! So much of what he does in his work reminds me of how I got started in filmmaking.

Oliver also does running commentary videos with his pals Richard Jackson and an amazing working actor named Duncan Casey. The time they put into dissecting a bad movie can be highly entertaining to watch!

Here are Oliver’s links to see his work:

I highly recommend his new Back to the Future retrospective:

We’re in the home stretch of the VENDETTA GAMES Indiegogo campaign which will conclude this weekend. Whether or not we make the minimum goal, we are moving forward with the project as we started securing locations for jump starting production next month as well as an upcoming photo shoot with the cast. So please contribute to help us get this exciting movie on the big screen. Every little bit will help us!

We will have screening information for NIGHT STREAM at the Ocktober Film Festival within the next two weeks. But in the meantime if you’re in the D.C. area, tickets are still available for the World Music & Independent Film Festival screenings of AJ Epyx short films TEMPTED and THE DINNER which will take place Thursday, August 20 at 6pm in the National Navy Museum in Washington, D.C.! Purchase them at Eventbrite today!
