For those who don’t know, this is the very last week of our Kickstarter campaign for the upcoming western project AMERICAN GUNSLINGERS. So far, we have only raised 14% of our fundraising goal since we began last month. We’ve actually done a little better than our previous campaign on Seed & Spark which was greatly affected by the initial lockdowns caused by the global pandemic. But this is still an all or nothing situation where if we don’t meet the minimum goal, then we get no funds to start production next year. We would have to consider other options.
We understand that the $12K goal is a long shot to reach between now and our November 21st deadline. So even if you can’t afford to contribute, you can still help us a long way by sharing the Kickstarter link. All it takes is the right eyes to view our work and be willing to support what we need to get up and running. These rewards are also worthwhile to get should you decide to contribute.

CALCULATED EGOS
CALCULATED EGOS follows a struggling Brooklyn warehouse worker named Melvin Mac, Jr. who is offered an important job opportunity by reputed Italian mob boss, Don Cesare Pachino. The wealth that the job provides for Mac’s wife and son also makes him a target for enemies working in the shadows. This results in a series of tragic events that will change both the Mac and Pachino family lives forever. The web series will be a 10-episode arc spanning three generations from the mid-1970s to the present day. We are proud to bring to life this gripping new project from award-winning film director, Andrè Joseph of AJ Epyx Productions, writer/producers Christopher Stewart and Minoj of Source Life Entertainment, and associate producer Sonia Ruiz. The Wild West Film Festival in Vacaville, CA just announced their 2020 winners today and American Gunslingers WON its 3rd Best Trailer award! Though the festival itself couldn’t hold an in-person event due to COVID and the California wildfires, we’re still honored to be recognized once again and hope to get the completed project shown there in the future. Though we didn’t get to win the trailer award at Long Island International Film Expo, it was very nice for AMERICAN GUNSLINGERS be recognized for HONORABLE MENTION in the category. Any recognition for our work is always a blessing and another step towards progress. But a huge congrats is in order to our screenwriter Drew Henriksen for his award win at this festival for his script A BROKEN CHRISTMAS!
We woke up this morning happy to report that our trailer for AMERICAN GUNSLINGERS won the “Best Film Trailer” award last night at Arizona’s The Wild Bunch Film Festival! A huge thank you to Rock and Brenda-Marie Whitehead for this honor and to all of you who have been following the very long process of this project! We are going to continue to need all of your support to get the full story up on screen!

Such is the premise of award-winning writer, director, producer, ANDRE JOSEPH’s “American Gunslingers”.
