Before we make our Boston debut next month, our award-winning short film Dismissal Time will proudly be screening as one of 6 titles at the Hamilton Arts Festival Short Film Series! This live event will take place on Monday June 19th at 6 pm EST at the Fabian 8 Cinema located at:

After our “Best New Jersey Short” award win at Hang on to Your shorts last weekend, it looks like I’m finally coming back to Boston! We are thrilled to announce our film Dismissal Time will be featured in the 25th Annual Roxbury International Film Festival (@RoxFilm) happening June 20- July 2, 2023. The film will screen at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, MA on Saturday, June 24th in “Shorts Program 3” from 2:30pm – 5:00pm. Congrats once again to our team!

Another huge honor for our special story Dismissal Time, now WINNER for “Best New Jersey Short” at the 10th annual Hang on to Your Shorts Film Festival! I want to personally thank Hiram, Brian, and Rich for this award and more importantly getting our film seen in front of an audience. There’s no better feeling than to see the profound effect that such a traumatic experience can serve as a moment of clarity to educate not just teens but also teachers and parents.
In addition to this award, Dismissal Time has landed Semifinalist status for the Brooklyn International Short Festival and was accepted to screen as part of Hamilton Arts Festival Short Film Series! Hope to have more specifics on those soon and more. Once again, congrats to our cast and crew all around!

Our award-winning drama Dismissal Time is going straight to Portugal this month as part of the Bizarrya Short Film Festival happening March 15-31. “Share what is related to mainly public artistic work with the focus on segments that change what things are. In times of great danger to culture, the main goal of continuing to make art is sometimes the way that minds achieves a gateway to freedom.”
ATTENTION: Our award-winning short film DISMISSAL TIME is competing in AudPop’s “Race to Justice” Film Challenge. Between now through January 20th, you can watch and vote for our film. The top 10 submissions with the most votes and the top 10 preliminary jury-selected films will advance to the finals round. Winners will get a live screening in Los Angeles. Here’s some major breaking news! I just appeared on an impromptu live stream for next year’s Hang Onto Your Shorts Film Festival where I got to promote all things Dismissal Time and you can watch the replay below right now. And just so you know, we’ve been accepted to the next festival happening May 6-7th in Asbury Park, NJ! Thank you Hiram Ortiz and team for your thoughtful praise of our film and we look forward to attending the event in 2023!
At the end of this year, we will be ending our fiscal sponsorship arrangement with Fractured Atlas for all fundraising on Dismissal Time. Some big news to share on the international front. Dismissal Time is an official selection and short film nominee for this year’s Mediterranean Film Festival Cannes! The event takes place November 27 – 30 with winners to be announced on the last day. Congrats to our team!
