As part of our 15th year in business, we are now re-releasing some of our past short films on Vimeo for free to our fans and followers. This is our thanks to your loyal support on these productions. Among the films we are now making public are 2005’s THE EVIL SOCIETY, 2013’s NIGHT STREAM, and 2014’s TEMPTED. Watch them all today on the AJ Epyx Vimeo Channel.
Yesterday, we received notice from Amazon that on June 4th, they will be shutting down the Media on Demand service for good. MOD was our source for submitting and selling physical copies of our past films since PRICELESS back in 2010. With the fast changing climate of the industry as there is greater public demand for digital streaming services, physical media is clearly phasing out.
What does this mean for us? It mean that this will be your last opportunity to purchase DVD and Blu-ray copies of THE SAXOPHONIST, DISHONORABLE VENDETTA, NIGHT STREAM, EVIL SOCIETY, and TEMPTED. All films are available at discounted prices and have special features that you may not get on a streaming service. They are only worth having as collector’s items. The change at Amazon, however, will not affect VENDETTA GAMES which can still be streamed on Prime.
We may look into another physical media distribution outlet in the near future should the demand be there for it. But if you still want to see these movies after June 4th, they are all available on our Vimeo on Demand page and THE SAXOPHONIST can be seen on The BeBop Channel app.

I’m happy to announce that our short comedy TEMPTED has been selected to be screened at this year’s Yellow Ape Film Festival in Long Island, NY! As mentioned on their official website, the festival will be held on Thursday July 27th, 2017 from 7PM to 11PM at the legendary Cinema Arts Centre in Huntington, Long Island. Selections will be screened on the big screen at the festival and the winning films selected by our panel of celebrity judges will be presented with awards at the end of the night. It will be a fun night for films as well as live entertainment.

Our very successful short comedy TEMPTED has become an official selection for the Los Angeles Cine Fest. This is an online film festival where the films will compete in a series of “Best of the Best” categories as well as a Best Audience Competition. For the latter, everyone can support the film by voting between January 10-20th.

I not only had a great showing the fraternity comedy TEMPTED to the Intra-Greek Council at Wesleyan University but the film also received positive feedback about its themes and situations. It was the kind of discussion that could improve the well being of college students (especially freshmen) and the reputation of all fraternities and sororities. Thank you Renee Johnson-Thornton and the council for having me up!

It’s now official: The award nominated short comedy TEMPTED will be playing on Tuesday, November 17 at Wesleyan University! The screening will be held in the Allbritton Center for Public Research and is co-sponsored by the Intra-Greek Council and the Office of Equity and Inclusion at Wesleyan University.
Writer/director Andre´ Joseph will be in attendance to give a Q&A about the movie’s exploration of college fraternity life and will also be taking part in a conversation with the school administration about its themes.
We once again congratulate all the cast and crew for their hard work and helping to take TEMPTED to places we never thought possible!
