After weeks of anxiously waiting, we finally received the screening schedule for the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival! Our screening for Dismissal Time is listed under “Political Dynamics (Political Filmmaking)” and the information is as follows:

Screening Block Time: 3:00pm – 4:45pm

DISMISSAL TIME Short Film Production Seeking Production Assistants

Dramatic short film from award-winning filmmaker about high school cyberbullying incident based on true events looking to find at least 2 production assistants for 4 shooting days in South Jersey and Philadelphia in October 2021. Preference to applicants local to these areas. All applicants must submit a resume to be considered.

Ideal candidates must be local to South Jersey and Philadelphia, eager to learn, must be available for any of the 4 shooting dates, and be prepared to handle any tasks such as script supervisor or assisting to needs of director and producers. Film students currently in college encouraged to apply.

I’m so excited to be announcing this highly talented group of actors who will be taking part in this very important story that is DISMISSAL TIME. Loosely inspired by true events, DISMISSAL TIME is about a history teacher in a prestigious prep school who makes it her mission to find out the truth behind a vicious cyberbullying incident involving a lone black student in her class. The cast includes Lisa Regina (PRICELESS), Troy Sill, Jay Pastelak, Kat Walsh Oliver Feaster, Kayla Minore, Sarah Dolhansky, Isaiah Faircloth, Denise Spaulding, Dave Goodman, and special appearance by Chris Corulla Jr. (VENDETTA GAMES).

Production to begin this October in locations around South Jersey and Philadelphia.
