As part of our 15th year in business, we are now re-releasing some of our past short films on Vimeo for free to our fans and followers. This is our thanks to your loyal support on these productions. Among the films we are now making public are 2005’s THE EVIL SOCIETY, 2013’s NIGHT STREAM, and 2014’s TEMPTED. Watch them all today on the AJ Epyx Vimeo Channel.
Yesterday, we received notice from Amazon that on June 4th, they will be shutting down the Media on Demand service for good. MOD was our source for submitting and selling physical copies of our past films since PRICELESS back in 2010. With the fast changing climate of the industry as there is greater public demand for digital streaming services, physical media is clearly phasing out.
What does this mean for us? It mean that this will be your last opportunity to purchase DVD and Blu-ray copies of THE SAXOPHONIST, DISHONORABLE VENDETTA, NIGHT STREAM, EVIL SOCIETY, and TEMPTED. All films are available at discounted prices and have special features that you may not get on a streaming service. They are only worth having as collector’s items. The change at Amazon, however, will not affect VENDETTA GAMES which can still be streamed on Prime.
We may look into another physical media distribution outlet in the near future should the demand be there for it. But if you still want to see these movies after June 4th, they are all available on our Vimeo on Demand page and THE SAXOPHONIST can be seen on The BeBop Channel app.

With so many titles out on multiple platforms now, we decided to start a periodic blog to update everyone as to where they can see the work we have done. After having some inspiration this past week, I’ve decided that I will be making a special AJ Epyx Productions Q&A video special. This will allow us to finally interact with fans and supporters of our work from the past 10 years. Between now and Monday, please submit any and all questions you may have about our past work (i.e. Priceless, Dishonorable Vendetta, Night Stream, etc.), upcoming work (i.e. Vendetta Games), and anything you want about myself Andre´ Joseph, my co-hosting work on The CineFiles, views on the movie industry, films I’ve recently seen, etc. Reply by either private messaging me on the website or commenting on my Facebook page. I’ll try to cover as much as possible!

We’re in the home stretch of the VENDETTA GAMES Indiegogo campaign which will conclude this weekend. Whether or not we make the minimum goal, we are moving forward with the project as we started securing locations for jump starting production next month as well as an upcoming photo shoot with the cast. So please contribute to help us get this exciting movie on the big screen. Every little bit will help us!
We will have screening information for NIGHT STREAM at the Ocktober Film Festival within the next two weeks. But in the meantime if you’re in the D.C. area, tickets are still available for the World Music & Independent Film Festival screenings of AJ Epyx short films TEMPTED and THE DINNER which will take place Thursday, August 20 at 6pm in the National Navy Museum in Washington, D.C.! We are very happy to announce that our award winning dramatic short film NIGHT STREAM has been accepted into the 2015 Ocktober Film Festival in New York City! This will be our third screening of the film since last summer when Reginald L. Barnes won the Best Supporting Actor award at the World Music & Independent Film Festival. In the coming days, we will have ticket and screening information for the festival which will be held in the first week of October. Congratulations once again to the entire cast and crew of NIGHT STREAM!

Then our award winning actor from Night Stream, Reginald L. Barnes, has just started a GoFundMe campaign to help with all his acting career needs from upcoming productions to obtaining union status. He has been hard at work on this for 10 years and now it’s time that it pays off.
