Andre’ Joseph to Appear on EBONI Live July 1

Award-winning filmmaker Andre’ Joseph will be on In Conversation with Charvelle as part of Emerson College’s EBONI Live tomorrow night, July 1, at 8pm EST/5pm PST. We will be discussing career, recent projects including Vendetta Games and The Saxophonist, and thoughts on independent filmmaking in the modern age. As a friendly reminder, if you live in Staten Island, we also have our recently announced public screenings on WEDNESDAY, FEB. 13 @ 10:30AM (WEST BRIGHTON COMMUNITY CENTER) and TUESDAY, FEB. 19 @ 10:00AM (CASSIDY COLES SENIOR CENTER). A 3rd screening will soon be announced for the Little Victory Theatre on the evening of TUESDAY, FEB. 19.

We also have our special screening at Boston’s Emerson College on Thursday, Feb. 28 as part of the “Frames Per Second” group. And lastly, if you’re in Jamaica or planning to visit there February 22-March 2, don’t forget our film will be screening in Kingston as part of the Jamaica International Faith Films Festival!

THE SAXOPHONIST to Screen at Emerson College & Accepted to Brightside Film Festival

We are very happy to announce that our award-winning short film THE SAXOPHONIST will be playing at Boston’s Emerson College on Thursday, Feb. 28 as part of the “Frames Per Second” group that involves many students in the pre-production, production, and post-production of films. Not only that, but we have also been selected to screen at The Brightside Film Festival to be held at the Brightside Tavern in Jersey City, NJ from March 1 – 3.

Further details on all screenings will be announced at a later time. For our fans in Jamaica, don’t forget our upcoming screening at the Jamaica International Faith Films Festival from Feb. 22 – March 2. THE SAXOPHONIST Trailer and Final Poster Released

After a year of anticipation, the trailer for the AJ Epyx Productions dramatic short film, The Saxophonist, has been released along with the final poster for the film. The film is currently in the final stages of audio mixing and will premiere at a soon to be announced date as well as film festivals.

However, we are very happy to announce here that the trailer will be screened as part of the EBONI programming of the Emerson College Film Festival in Los Angeles on Saturday, April 14. THE DINNER Best Actress Video Highlight

The World Music & Independent Film Festival has just added a highlight video of the Best Actress In Short Films (DC/Maryland/Virginia area) nominees and they include THE DINNER leading lady, Catie Carlton! The film also has 4 additional nominations include Best Directors Andre´ Joseph and Anna Snead! The award ceremony will take place Saturday, August 22nd and is located in the beautiful Hilton Crystal City located near the Reagan National Airport.
