Our award-winning drama Dismissal Time is going straight to Portugal this month as part of the Bizarrya Short Film Festival happening March 15-31. “Share what is related to mainly public artistic work with the focus on segments that change what things are. In times of great danger to culture, the main goal of continuing to make art is sometimes the way that minds achieves a gateway to freedom.”
Our award-winning short film Dismissal Time is going international! It’s been accepted to the London International Film Festival and the Kalakari Film Festival in India! Both award events will be announced in the coming month. Congrats to our team!

Here’s some major breaking news! I just appeared on an impromptu live stream for next year’s Hang Onto Your Shorts Film Festival where I got to promote all things Dismissal Time and you can watch the replay below right now. And just so you know, we’ve been accepted to the next festival happening May 6-7th in Asbury Park, NJ! Thank you Hiram Ortiz and team for your thoughtful praise of our film and we look forward to attending the event in 2023!
Some big news to share on the international front. Dismissal Time is an official selection and short film nominee for this year’s Mediterranean Film Festival Cannes! The event takes place November 27 – 30 with winners to be announced on the last day. Congrats to our team!

The main title theme of the soundtrack was composed and performed by Konstantin Soukhovetski @konstantin.soukhovetski, virtuoso pianist and actor.
The soundtrack features emotional piano piece “Anticipation” by Polina Nazaykinskaya @polinamusic and absolute hit song “Night Skies” composed and performed by Matthew Hackett & Husayn Ruhe aka the Puge @wolvencubsorcery.
The film tells the story of a black high school student in a reputable prep school who becomes the victim of a vicious form of cyber bullying. His history teacher makes it her mission to bring those responsible to task. Loosely inspired by true events.
