I’m so excited to be announcing this highly talented group of actors who will be taking part in this very important story that is DISMISSAL TIME. Loosely inspired by true events, DISMISSAL TIME is about a history teacher in a prestigious prep school who makes it her mission to find out the truth behind a vicious cyberbullying incident involving a lone black student in her class. The cast includes Lisa Regina (PRICELESS), Troy Sill, Jay Pastelak, Kat Walsh Oliver Feaster, Kayla Minore, Sarah Dolhansky, Isaiah Faircloth, Denise Spaulding, Dave Goodman, and special appearance by Chris Corulla Jr. (VENDETTA GAMES).
Production to begin this October in locations around South Jersey and Philadelphia.
DISMISSAL TIME is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. We are very happy to introduce actress Nadya Encarnacion as our latest addition to the cast of THE SAXOPHONIST. Nadya will be playing a ballet dancer and love interest to the title character played by Beavin Lawrence. She was a featured model for Linda Nieves-Powells’ Latina Icons tribute to Afro-Latinas in music as the icon Irene Cara, images published in The Huffington Post, Vibe & Latina Magazines. She was last seen on stage playing the role of The Leader in the classic musical ZORBA with the Clay & Wattles Theater Co. at The Gary The Olivia Theater in Bethlehem, CT. Along with her passions for Film/TV & stage, she is also dedicated to juvenile justice. Nadya is a graduate of the American Musical & Dramatic Academy, M.A. from Manhattan College & B.A. from Fairfield University.
