DISMISSAL TIME, INSPIRE US, & ANGELINA Nominated for Multiple Awards at the 14th Annual WMIFF

Huge news to break today as we found out that our award-winning short film Dismissal Time along with the Milan Lazistan music videos “Inspire Us” and “Angelina” will be a part of the 14th Annual World Music and Independent Film Festival in Washington, D.C.! All 3 of our projects are nominated for multiple awards and the winners will be announced at the gala in April 2023. Nominations are as follows:

Best Actress in Short Film – Lisa Regina

Best Actor in Short Film – Oliver Feaster

Best Supporting Actor in Short Film – Jay Pastelak

Best Director in Short Film – Andre’ Joseph

Best Screenplay in Short Film – Andre’ Joseph

Best Original Song – “Night Skies” by Matt Hackett and the Puge

DISMISSAL TIME Accepted & Award Nominated at ChangeFest

We are so honored to announce that Dismissal Time is being recognized once again! The dramatic short film has been accepted to be part of the International Social Change Film Festival aka ChangeFest. It’s “a transformative experience that occupies the intersection of storytelling, fun and activism.” With festival events planned in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles, not only will the movie be part of the program, but it has also been award nominated! We will keep you posted with more details in the coming weeks. Congrats to our cast and crew!

GET INVOLVED and UNINVITED Music Videos Nominated at 13th Annual WMIFF

We received great news yesterday that the music videos we produced for Kym Swain’s GET INVOLVED and Milan Lazistan’s UNINVITED have been selected and nominated for 2 awards each at the next annual World Music and Independent Film Festival in Washington, DC. Exciting news! Yesterday, NJ’s Hang Onto Your Shorts Film Festival released this year’s award nominations and our award-winning short film THE SAXOPHONIST has been nominated for 3 awards including the following:

Best Actor (Long Short) – Beavin Lawrence

Best Director – Long Short – Andre’ Joseph

Best Long Short

Screening Time & Info for AMERICAN GUNSLINGERS Trailer at Wavestock

Our American Gunslingers trailer screening at Wavestock has been announced for the 2:30pm block for this coming Saturday, October 12! Doors will open at 1pm at Flagship Brewery in Staten Island, NY where the screenings will be held. There is only a $5 cover at the door for everyone. View the Facebook invite below.

As an additional reminder, the tailer will also screen the following weekend at The Cutting Room International Short Film Festival in NYC Saturday, Oct. 19th in the A-Block from 10:30am-12:30am.
