Our animated teaser trailer for American Gunslingers has been nominated for BEST ANIMATION at The AOF Megafest in Las Vegas! The award ceremony takes place Saturday, August 3rd at 7pm. We will be screening the animated trailer alongside the AJ Epyx short film THE SAXOPHONIST at the Palms Casino Resort next Wednesday, July 31 in the 8pm screening block. Tickets available now!

AMERICAN GUNSLINGERS Animated Teaser to Screen at Action on Film Megafest

I’m happy to announce that our animated teaser trailer for American Gunslingers has been selected to screen at this year’s Action on Film Megafest in Las Vegas! We will have more information early next month about the screening date and film block where it will be showing. But for all filmmakers out there, the AOF as well as their sister festival Hollywood Dreams (where THE SAXOPHONIST will also be screening at this summer) are still accepting submissions between now and July 1. This is the first teaser from AJ Epyx Productions for the upcoming feature-length western, AMERICAN GUNSLINGERS. We are currently in the funding and pre-production phase of the project. The story follows two young brothers of different races who witness the brutal murder of their parents. Reunited as men, the maps tattooed on their arms lead them to the cache of jewels stolen from the murderers. The screenplay by Drew Henriksen (POWER OF PRAYER) with story by Henriksen, Andre´ Joseph, and Chris Corulla, Jr. was recently the recipient of “Best Feature Length Screenplay” at the 2019 World Music & Independent Film Festival as well as making semi-finalist status at the Utah Film Festival.
