This July on Brooklyn Free Speech TV, you’ll get to see a live performance of Beavin Lawrence, star of our award-winning short, THE SAXOPHONIST. He’ll also be performing live at East New York’s Fusion East Caribbean Soul Restaurant sometime this year for the Central Brooklyn Jazz Festival. Stay tuned for more great news about Beavin and our film which will be playing in Las Vegas this summer as part of the Hollywood Dreamz Film Festival!
We are going back to Las Vegas, baby! Our award-winning short film, THE SAXOPHONIST, has just been accepted into the 3rd Annual Hollywood Dreamz Film Festival. We were present last year for VENDETTA GAMES which had been nominated for multiple categories there as well as its sister festival, Action on Film. Hosted by veterans of over sixty years of live entertainment events and scheduled to take place in one of the most dynamic cities in the world, Las Vegas: HDIFF guarantees to give filmmakers and writers the opportunity to showcase their works to a world audience, be screened in beautiful venues, offer validation, recognition and awards in multiple Award Categories and in short, become a must attend show for all involved in the film and television industries.
The event takes place over the weeks of July 25 – August 3 with screenings at the Brenden Theater located at Palms Casino Resort. Will keep you updated on the actual screening date and time. Thank you again Del and Theresa Weston for having us back! Congrats to our cast and crew!
Episode 4 of THE SILVER SCREEN ACTION FIGURE PODCAST has the boys going back to an adventure 65 million years in the making. They’ll be discussing Kenner’s highly successful JURASSIC PARK action figure line as well as the subsequent sequels, THE LOST WORLD, JURASSIC PARK III, JURASSIC WORLD, and JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM, with toys produced by Hasbro and later Mattel. They also give a special mention to Ernie Hudson and 1995’s CONGO!

We just received the word last night that Drew Henriksen’s screenplay for our upcoming western project AMERICAN GUNSLINGERS just reached semi-finalist status for the Utah Film Festival and Awards. The festival will be making the final announcement of screening films and category nominations Saturday March 9th via Facebook Live. The award ceremony is April 6th at the Covey Center for the Arts in Provo Utah. A pre-show party begins at 5pm with the pre-show starting at 6pm. The award show will begin promptly at 7pm.
