Danny Dobyns Joins THE DINNER

Our latest casting announcement is here! We welcome DANNY DOBYNS in the role of “Buddy” in THE DINNER! The character of “Buddy” is the husband of “Beth” (HONEY ST. DENNIS) who is “a heavy drinker and smoker, wise but troubled, deep thinker, doesn’t have a great sense of humor but has an attractive quality in his mysterious demeanor.” Danny has the right amount of dark humor needed to bring this multidimensional character to life and we’re proud to have him as part of our cast!

We still need your help before the JULY 31st deadline for receiving contributions for THE DINNER! There will be some changes to the contribution perks in the coming days as well as a new video highlighting our pre-production progress thus far. Keep sharing the page as much as you can and please let your friends and family know that every contribution, no matter how big or small, will be greatly appreciated!

Andrew Agner-Nichols Joins THE DINNER

We’re pleased to announce the casting of ANDREW AGNER-NICHOLS in The Dinner. Andrew will be playing the role of “Greg”, the spouse of Lois (CATIE CARLTON) who is preppy but adorably charming but slightly controlling and can be overly confident. His previous credits include TV’s America’s Most Wanted and independent films such as The Engineer, Beyond the Front, and Last Case Scenario. We’re very excited to have Andrew on our project amongst a highly talented cast!
Stay tuned for our upcoming announcement regarding the filming locations!

Honey St. Dennis Joins THE DINNER

We’re pleased to announce our next cast member as actress HONEY ST. DENNIS joins The Dinner! Honey has trained at the Shakespeare Theatre Company as well as Studio Boh. Her credits include the upcoming films She’s Yours, The Roommate, and Secret City Bluz and has appeared on House of Cards and Who the Bleep Did I Marry?. Honey will be playing the role of “Beth”, a housewife who is lively and outgoing, free-spirited, and a bit spontaneous and crazy compared to the rest of the characters to be announced later. We look forward to working with Honey and we’re very glad to have her on board!

Actress Catie Carlton Joins THE DINNER

We are happy to officially announce actress CATIE CARLTON as our first cast member set for our upcoming short dramedy! Catie is a Virginia-based actress with credits on “House of Cards” and “Veep”. She will be playing the lead role of “Lois”, a melancholy, highly educated housewife with a twisted sense of humor.

Also, with 46 days left, we still need your help! Any small contribution can help us greatly! If you can share the page, using hashtags such as #crowdfunding and #shortfilm help us get trending on Twitter and Facebook. We’re very pleased about the 31% of the goal that we have raised thus far and thank everyone who has been able to contribute.
